Short film:

Gordon's Star is a short comedy about Gordon. He is, what his friends call, an accident magnet. His best friend names a star after him for his birthday. She believes this is a present he can't break... but she's wrong. This funny, charming short film explores fantasy in a quirky inventive way and the challenges faced in teen years, as we discover who our real friends are and hopefully don't screw things up.

Nathaniel Oliveri wrote the screenplay for Gordon's Star after a short conversation with Miguel Zaragoza one afternoon when trying to come up with a short film idea for their Foundation Diploma course at the Australian Film, Television and Radio School (AFTRS) - Moore Park campus. Gordon's Star is the result of a joke they both came up with that day. Pre-production soon followed whilst Nathaniel continued to develop the script having written multiple drafts. Miguel helped with script editing. Production started on the 21st of September 2009 with the final day of scheduled shooting on the 10th of October 2009. Nathaniel did the editing and composed, performed and recorded the original score for the film. Together, they are finalising the special effects and are also in the planning stages of entering the 24 minute short comedy into film festivals. Whilst the film was developed and produced at AFTRS with the aid of their fantastic lecturers and staff, this film is not categorised as a student film as the copyright ownership of all 2009 Foundation Diploma films have been released by the school back to its Foundation Diploma students. 2009 was the inaugral year of the Foundation Diploma course. interactive cd-rom game:

Q's Bizarro Quiz Show: As their final project for their QANTM Diploma in Multimedia Design, Jon Blair, Adrien Kok and Miguel Zaragoza created a hypothetical company; JAM Multimedia. As JAM, they created an interactive CD-Rom entitled: Q's Bizarro Quiz Show. This game, delivered via a single CD, was created using a range of software applications including Photoshop 5, 3ds max 4, Flash 5, Sound Forge and was authored in Authorware 5.2. It included interactive gameplay where the user could choose to be one of three different characters to compete with two other computer controlled characters in a TV gameshow environment that could be described as a satirical mix between Sale of the Century and Who Wants to be a Millionaire. Users must buzz in before their competing computer characters do, and answer a multiple choice question correctly in order to score points. The gameshow also included commercial breaks where four different anti-ads were created to play at random. The major ad was for the Abdominizer, a make-believe electronic device that advertised that it would turn your flabby abs into abs of steel while in reality, was seriously damaging the user and those around him.
